Our Menu

Beyond Tacos: A True Taste of Tradition

At the heart of our kitchen is fresh, house-made masa, setting us apart from the typical taco-focused menu. Our signature huaraches highlight this foundation, delivering rich texture and authentic flavor in every bite. We go beyond the expected with a lineup of traditional guisados and fillings like earthy huitlacoche, delicate zucchini blossoms, tender cactus, and slow-cooked chicken tinga. This commitment to regional ingredients and time-honored recipes creates a truly authentic Mexican dining experience you won’t find just anywhere.

A Neighborhood Tradition

Huaraches Doña Chio began as a humble, community-focused eatery inspired by the street food culture of Mexico City. Every dish reflects a deep respect for classic Mexican cooking and the people who enjoy it.

We order through grub hub but the order was canceled and the owner delivered it personally. Place is amazing and the food.

Huarches Dona Chio is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Blanca is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Great carne asada huarche. Must come back. 10/10.

I was trying to find a nice Huarache and Mexican dishes place and we found it. In mexico we normally do this kind of food on weekends and the best thing is they do the size of the Huaraches so huge that one is enough for your hungry. We tried the Asada, the chicken tinga and the Nopales ones, and they were so freshly made that we will return of course again. Here the secret is the dough they use to make the big tortilla wich is very fresh and done from at the moment, and it has smashed beans in the middle. So tasty so good that we will return. Be aware this is a small restaurant so don't expect something fancy, but if you want to try this real Mexican food you will really enjoy it.

Cozy, authentic, tucked away on a side street, this little Mexican restaurant delights with homemade tortillas, savory, but not spicy mole, and a selection of expected favorites. Everything was fresh and tasty and the dozen patrons in the small dining area all seemed to be smiling. You'll pay 3% extra to use a credit credit, but you won't mind
